About Us
Thin Ice are a fully live, three piece band featuring lead guitar, bass guitar and drums. We play an energetic range of music from the 60s through to today, specially suited to the broad age group that would be expected at a wedding reception.
We provide a 3-hour show for an evening wedding reception, typically from 9-12 (before a DJ who would then play from 12-2am), but we are flexible with these times. You can be guaranteed a professional and friendly service, with advice and recommendations offered at every turn. Our choice of music, and our sound and light set up will ensure that guests experience a touch of class.

Hotels, governments, national associations, charity organisations and large multi-national companies hire us to provide quality entertainment and a professional service. Here is an example of just some of the recent Black-Tie events we have played

More importantly, countless couples have trusted us with their wedding reception because they wanted their wedding to be “special” and they knew the importance of getting it right.
Song List
As you will see from the sample set list below we perform a wide range of music, from waltz’s and country favourites (Red Rose Café, That’s Amoré, Passed the Point of Rescue) for the more mature guests, right through to modern classics (Summer of ’69, All Right Now, I’ll be There for You) and all the 60s and 70s hits in between.
